Before closing front door always check that a key is not in the back of the door – or you have to get Peter Crook to let you back in.

Always carry a front door key with you – the locksmith is expensive !

Turn the key twice to lock the front door.

There are security clips in the grills of all the windows (except bathroom) which you need to remove before you can raise the grills. Please lower grills and insert security clips when you go out.

There is a plant pot and silk plant. This is to collect water from the white air conditioning pipe on the small back terrace as it is illegal in Spain to let water drip onto the property below. The plant pot can be emptied on the grass opposite the apartment.

Rubbish, empty bottles etc. goes into any of the green waste bins at the side of any road.

You have to pull out the extractor fan above the cooker and you can then see the fan speed and light switches on the right hand side.

Water is heated automatically when the hot taps are turned on (the kitchen tap is turned to the left for hot water).

There are rules for the use of the swimming pool - please read them before swimming. Also it is siesta time between 2pm and 5pm - please be aware the locals sleep at this time.

When you depart please clear the fridge, leave the door open and turn off the electric ( green and black switch on the right in the box on wall behind the front door).
